The Global Polymer Innovation Summit 2025 is the premier international platform dedicated to exploring cutting-edge advancements in polymer science, materials innovation, and sustainable manufacturing technologies.

Hosted by Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) Athlone, a globally recognized leader in polymer education and research, the summit provides a forum for collaboration among academia, industry leaders, and policymakers.

This year’s conference focuses on fostering technology convergence and innovation to address critical challenges in industries such as medical devices, energy, automotive, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare. With contributions from PRISM (Polymer, Recycling, Industrial, Sustainability, and Manufacturing Research Institute) and APT (Applied Polymer Technology Research Centre)—both European leaders in research and industry engagement—the event is designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas, showcase cutting-edge research, and build lasting connections.

Spanning three days, the summit features:

  • Day 1 (Training Day):
Hands-on technical training at First Polymer Training Ltd., focusing on AI in injection moulding, advanced polymer processing techniques, and materials and design insights from global experts. The day concludes with a formal opening reception at the Sheraton Hotel, including networking and Irish cultural performances.

  • Day 2 & 3 (Conference Days):
A packed schedule of keynote speeches, thematic sessions, and PhD presentations covering emerging topics such as nanocomposites, medical plastics, sustainability, AI integration, and cutting-edge materials for critical industries.

Engage.Connect. Explore
